HARSHMELLOW is an independent countdown sponsored by SPONGIE SAKUMA along with some of his friends. It is a non - profit chart of songs which aims for promoting the artist as well as their songs.
The countdown is generally based on 1. AIRPLAY (how many times the song was played the whole week, neither in public or private by SPONGIE or his friends) 2. REQUEST (from other friends whom the song/s was introduced) 3. PERSONAL ASSESSMENT (from the sponsor's point - of - view) and 4. OTHERS (which comprises of song lyric's meaning, pop - culture, sales, etc.) thus, this countdown never reflects any of external sites' ideas and is mere personal.
HARSHMELLOW features songs that are written in ENGLISH or FILIPINO or ANY dialects from the Philippines. It's never important what is the nationality of the artist of the song as long as it is written in the said language/s.
The criterion for the song to be included in chart: It MUST be written in English or Tagalog or Any language as long as its 80 % written in the said languages. Thus, if the criterion is not met, the song will be disqualified.
